It’s the thought that counts, and the best way to show that you’ve put some thought and care into your holiday gifting is by going all out on the wrap job. As personal a fan of more traditional color palettes and sophistication through simplicity, I’ve always favored simple brown kraft paper in my wrapping. Not to mention it’s usually high in recycled material content, widely available, and, best of all, cheap, cheap, cheap.

The key with simple wrapping is all in the details, so be sure to wrap on flat surfaces, get nice creases and use double stick tape. So now that you’ve nailed the gift, stick the landing with perfect wrap job. Here’s 14 excellent ideas to make your kraft paper clothed gifts stand out this season:
