With April showers (mostly) behind us, we’re welcoming May flowers in both our gardens and our homes. It never ceases to amaze us how much impact a vase full of fresh blooms can have on a room.
In our opinion, tulips are the most overlooked flower. They are the epitome of spring and, better yet, they are cheap and cheerful!
We recently discovered a nifty little trick that will extend the amount of days of enjoyment you’ll get out of a single bouquet of tulips. Canada may have deemed the penny useless but hang on to those precious copper rounds. By simply dropping a penny into the water, your tulips will stay upright (rather than flopping over) and last way longer.
Got any other tricks for getting your flowers to last longer? We want to hear them!
